The Village of Wellington is a world-famous equestrian community and destination boasting beautiful year-round weather and is home to the largest horse show in the world, The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). There are few other equestrian communities more dedicated or tailored to the avid equestrian.

The Showgrounds and Stadium at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center encompass more than 150 acres and is the centerpiece of the Wellington winter circuit. Every age and skill level is represented at the show including lead line for the smallest competitor, junior/young rider and adult-amateurs classes and Olympic level events for top international equestrians.

The Community

At the WEF showgrounds, take part in the thrill of Wellington horse show jumping, the grace of the show hunters, the elegance of dressage. Tailgate and stomp divots at the International Polo Club Palm Beach which hosts the world’s highest goal polo during the winter season. 2015 also marked the inaugural year for the Wellington Eventing Showcase, seeing Olympic level event riders flock to the area for top prize money.

Wellington balances its commitment to equestrian activities while maintaining one of the best family atmospheres in the country. With some of the highest rated schools in the state complemented by a community focused on recreation and overall health, it is easy to see why Wellington is recognized annually by Money Magazine as one of the “Top 100 Places to Live” in the United States.
